Niall Paris, minister of the First Presbyterian Church in Invercargill, says live streaming of Sunday services is helping Parisians cope with the 19 epidemic.
With a regular Sunday attendance of 15, Encounter New Life Church in Gore will reopen this weekend.

Elizabeth Chin, pastor of Holy Trinity Church, said her plan to hold Sunday service within Alert Level 2 regulations was approved by Steven Banford, the Anglican bishop of Dunedin.

Calvin Community Church in Gore also runs live streaming services in its building, in small numbers, instead of having members.
Minister Ken Williams said about 220 churchgoers attended Sunday.
