Stan Walker has revealed that he and Lou Tyson were secretly married, with a small backyard party only for close friends and family.
They got married in August, less than a year after the engagement.
Their ceremony was a small, family affair. Both his parents were there, along with some close friends and family.
But many friends and family were unable to attend. The marriage went on a difficult journey from Australia, where many of Walker’s family, including his siblings, live.

Tyson stuck to the traditional white color for his outfit, while Walker opted for the Earth Palette. She was wearing a loose brown shirt with a low cut to show her chest tattoo and whale bone tonga. He wore orange pants to match.
She was wearing a modern white dress and long white romata earrings, with a thin veil on the back.
“The way it happened, it was us. Very unconventional.”
“I think we did it all,” he said.
They first started dating in 2013, but it continued.
They broke up four years later, but never reunited last year.
The couple moved into a new home together last year. Walker joked that it was a big step for him to become a suitable adult, but Tyson disagreed – “Yes, he is an adult, a radical.”
Ever since they left together, Walker’s social media has been full of pictures of Tyson and T. Peverova, whom he affectionately calls “boy.”
The news of the wedding came as Walker was preparing to release a new album on T Rio Maori. He first made his music debut on Australian Idol in 2009, but has since moved to New Zealand and released five full albums.
Tyson worked for the Wanganui Economic Development Agency, and also worked as a presenter and model on Maori television.
