The Palmerston North couple ignited speculation about gender.

A car-loving couple sparked a wave of speculation on social media following a gender revelation near the city center.

But where there is smoke, there is a gender disclosure, and in this case the motorsport loving couple Renee Knox and Nathan Manley were to be burned at the Steve Tire Service at Ngata St.

“We love cars and driving, and we go to see burnout competitions, that’s our thing,” Knox said.

The results of his 20-week scan went straight to an envelope and directly to Steve’s tire service.

The store then ordered special tires, which included a thin layer of dyed rubber that was used to dye the exhaust smoke.

Even Knox didn’t know what color it would be.

Steve’s tire service allowed him to use his car park as a safe place away from the road, and enough space for family and friends to gather but socially away.

The public was also more curious than Knicks.

“It was a bit ridiculous,” he said. “I was amazed that so many people were talking about it … and what some of them were saying.”

Knox said she was nervous and excited when her partner got in the car and started the engine.

She had three children, and along the way she will have her first and second child with Manli.

The couple has been working on any gender names for about six months.

When the smoke turned pink, it was as if his daughter was being introduced. A new clue to help find her name.

“I wanted to cry, I was so happy and overwhelmed, and. [the kid’s] Like ‘Yes! We are getting a sister.

Knox said it was “amazing” to think that he and Manley met just over a year ago, and that not everything was in place.

Even their families shook well, thanks to an unexpected connection they discovered in this relationship for a few weeks.

“Our parents were friends in primary school, and we had no idea.

“[Nathan] Just one day he came back from his father’s place and said, ‘Is this your mother, Tracy Ann?’
